[glow=black,2,300] I absolutely despise having to write poetry to a specified format....I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! For AP English, we were given the assignment to write an autobiographical poem set to a very strict format....here's what I came up with....... Tabatha Fun loving, curious, and unique. Born on March 22nd Daughter of Roger and Lynn. Sister of Stephanie and Lisa Lover of music, books and movies. Who feels insecure, inquisitive and excited. Who needs a journal, money and independence Who gives time, energy and love Who fears inadequacy, loss of faith and inhumanity Who would like to see Paris, London and Rome Resident of teeny tiny Gasport Clark I really hate the format....anyone with me on that?[/glow]

I like this part:
"Who feels insecure, inquisitive and excited. Who needs a journal, money and independence Who gives time, energy and love Who fears inadequacy, loss of faith and inhumanity"
--but I do agree I don't like these types of poems. It's more like reading a biography.

I actually enjoyed writing in this format for my class. I wrote a very sad story about myself becuase I knew my teacher hated me and all that I wanted to say to her and explain to her came out in the poem and from that day on she treated me so much better... great job on this one for hating it so much
