Is anyone else following the FIFA World Cup? If so, what side are you rooting for? Personally, I've got a major soft spot for England....afterall, Beckham and J. Cole are my favorite players. I suppose I root a bit for the US team as well....gotta be somewhat patriotic. And as for England, did anyone see the game against Sweden today? It was awesome.....Englands first goal was fantastic. ( bow down to Joe Cole). Also, its a good thing that everyone was on top game today and that Rooney is back from his injury....England would have been in pretty bad shape after Owen's injury 4 minutes in. Hopefully, it isn't too serious. England will need him if they have to face Germany in next round. But anyway.......just thought I'd ask if anyone else was following and what your thoughts were.

Yeah, I've actually been watching a fair bit. I only got to see a bit of the game today at work, but Sweden's my team (as Ireland, Canada and Scotland aren't in it..and screw the English, haha). After that, I just cheer for an upset, so I was happy to see teams like Togo and Trinidad and Ghana really put up a fight, and even win a game or two. But yeah, I've got some friends cheering for Holland, and they've looked good too. The consensus around here though is that Argentina is the team to beat.

Wales aren't in it so I'm not following. Y'know England have already booked a celebratory parade type thing... arrogant or what.
