I am now back. This board hasn't had any activity though since I've left.

I had no one to talk to.

Aw I have nothing left to talk about because my life is pretty much same ol' same ol'. 7:10 - wake up 9:00 - start work 12:00 - lunch 1:00 - continue work 4:00 - walk home from work 5:00 or 6:00 - dinner 7:00 and after - nothing and that is every day. Hope about you?

Why are you hoping about me? I don't get it.

OH. That makes much more sense.
My schedule is constantly changing. never really consistant. But for the most part it usually goes.
Around 5, wake up, then hang out with someone, shower, get something to eat until around10:30 when I go to work. Lunch is usually around 2. Sleep around 4 till about 6. Go home after 8, play a game, check email until sleep. w00t!

woot indeed.
well I had something new last night at 4AM, a mental breakdown. I woke up around 3AM and never got back to sleep ... I just kind of went crazy and then I was in pain in the morning/at work. I'm hoping that never happens again but they have showed their ugly face before so it's only a matter of time. I was debating whether or not I should stop coming on the internet because I think I need to reinvent myself or something. I'll see ...

But the internet is so handy. Or you could be a traveller, and we could travel around and stuff.

Post by Laura on Sept 8, 2006 5:56:39 GMT -6
Yeah I'd like to travel. If only I had the money ... well I can't completely cut out the internet. I have to keep track of my CDs and ratings/reviews. I don't do much else.

OK, how about a drifter. Drifters don't need money.

I'm not hitch hiking if that's what you're suggesting. Oh and I'm not fit enough to walk anywhere. God I need help. How about we forget this whole thing and headbang until we pass out?

Done that before... not a big fan.
Even though I hate walking... well. I like it, but I am just way too out of shape and chubby to walk to much... but my dream is to just walk around the country, continent, world... just wandering and meeting people and wandering some more... yes. But I want a companion for my adventure.

Take me!! Oh yes. I have headbanged so much my neck felt like it was broken ... yeah, okay no fun but we can listen to cool music and "bob" our heads instead while singing along. That sounds fun - too bad I have to go back to work ... my jamming will have to wait until 4pm.
I saw your post on the chat - the Wii and PS3, okay let's discuss that. I'm psyched about the Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You like the Wario Ware game? Haha, it's funny. I just really want to see the system with my own eyes and feel the controller with my own hands - oh yeah. I'm going to turn this into some sex chat, I better stop.
No but I'm excited for the system. As for PS3, it's too damn expensive, from what I've heard. I'm not sure what kind of games they would have ONLY for that system that I would want.

Too expensive? No way.
For starters, it has a BlueRay player which alone is something like $1300. That alone can finish my arguement, but I shall go on.
The PS3 is using technology which by other standards doesn't exist. The pysics card alone is amazing. You will have to see the videos to really understand what is so great about it. That and the PS3 is going to using Linux!
With the wireless controllers, how you hold, or tilt them will add to the game play. So you know like when you were playing Mario, and you'd jerk the controller trying to jump higher, or farther(my mom did it)? Now it will affect the game play!

Yeah I heard the PS3 is sweet ... my brother might invest in it though so I'll get to play it while I'm still living at home (oh I need to move out!!)
Yes, I know what you mean by people jerking controllers ... like they turn their entire body to turn in Mario Kart - all new players do that. We'll see when it all comes out - they haven't set a date, have they? Argh. I am probably too obsessed with games. I started a new professional file in RE4 ... I can't stop playing that game.
Oh and I don't know what Linux is.
You give me a time and a place and I'll come ... well, I can try.
Countdown - 78 more days until I'm 21.

RE:4 is awesome, and 5 should be sweet. Linux is an operating system. Probably the best one out there in terms of stability, and it is free. There's only like 2 viruses for it. It's growing in popularity now, and now that the ps3 is going to have it, probably even moreso.
I am pretty much ready to go... uh, let's wait to the new year, or at least after I beat MGS4, RE5, and Twilight Princess.
THis calls for a party!

I should throw a party for my birthday ... I'll only be playing nintendo anyway. It's on a damn work night.
Is RE5 only coming out for PS3? That would suck. Twilight Princess will be the first game I beat, most likely. It's definitely the one I want most - hell I've been anxious for this since they announced it for Gamecube and it had no title. I'm also a sucker for Mario games so that Super Mario Galaxy will be mine as well. Christmas will come early this year ... and then when Christmas really does come, I will have no gift ideas.

As far as I know, it is only coming out for the PS3. They seem to be keeping pretty hush-hush about it.

Damn them and their secrets. If it's similar to RE4 (gameplay and storage for weapons) I will have to get my brother to buy it. Although they said RE4 was going to be GC only but a year later it came out for PS2 with bonus goodies. I'm going to TO Saturday shopping for CDs (Sonic Boom is so cool - I could spend an entire day looking at records & CDs there) yay

I can always go for some more CDs. It's hard to find Bootsy Collins and Praxis, or Mr. Bungle, and... Buckethead.

Sonic Boom in Toronto seriously has everything. I love finding promos and rare singles - those are my favourites to find.
