Hey Everyone!!! I was just going through the threads when I came across the Gas Price topic - it got me thinking, "hm, I wonder what they drive?"
So... here goes the SHOW OFF YOUR RIDE thread ;D
I'll start it off...
everyone, I'd like you to meet Josh, the Green Dragon!

Name: Josh
Year:2001
Make: Kia
Model:Rio
Josh came into my life in the summer of 2006. I didn't like him very much (I don't think he liked me very much either) but he was the cheapest automatic in the lot - I knew he was all I got. (It was cool being able to reach the pedals comfortably too!)
Me and my Dad had decided to dedicate one weekend to go car shopping. After driving in the 100 Texas degree weather for about 20 minutes I was ready to call it quits for his conversion van not only had NO radio but it had NO air conditioning as well and the dusty hot air blowing in my face did not sit with me well. So that's when it was understood we needed to find something cheap and fast (as in time, not necessarily speed )
I had already started my job and I did not want to spend another $40/day with my Dad's conversion van. Yes, it's that much of a gas guzzler. My job is approximately 45 minutes away and when I first started my Dad had to drop me off, go home, pick me up again, then go home.
Josh ran pretty well for the first week. Then he started stalling. Me and my friends have memories pushing him back home. We laugh about it now but he really was a NIGHTMARE back then. My Dad's friend's son - a mechanic with a very kind heart (bless him) gave Josh a bit of talk (changed all the fluids, wires, and other car stuff that I still have yet to learn about) and ever since then he's been behavin' pretty well.
There goes my short bio of my ride - show and tell us about yours!
