Alright everyone, I need help settling this debate between my friend and I.
Because he's insisting we say exactly who's involved (even though I think it's absolutely irrelevant) it's his (sharonslover)opinion VS mine.
He's saying kissing on the cheek is not the most romantic thing but in the middle of romance it should not shunned.
...and that muzzling does not exist (and that it's a tool that women came up with to keep guys away!!!!!)
I may not be the most romantic person but I DO appreciate romantic gestures and I believe that there is something else in between a kiss on the cheek and a kiss on the lips. This is what I call, "Muzzling" - it's when two people are wanting to be close but not necessarily needing to give or receive. It is that moment when two people are "cuddling" and they are content with being close.
Kissing on the cheek is something you do for an aunt, grandma, mother, etc... I don't think kissing on the cheek is romantic.
Your thoughts?

I agree that kissing on the cheek is more for family/good friends.
For some reason, I think it's kinda cute to be kissed on the forehead or temple area. The guy at school that I'm just head over heels for kisses his girlfriend there sometimes, and it just makes me feel all shivery to think that I was almost the one to get that affection.
I dunno... I guess people are just different...

I agree. I think cuddling is the most romantic and that kisses on the cheek are just weird in a romantic setting.

Cuddling = so cute/romantic. As far as kissing on the cheek goes, I think it really depends on the type of cheek-kiss. Sometimes, it can be exceptionally sweet, others it's very unromantic and platonic.
