What do you believe? Do you believe in ghosts? Spirits? Anything supernatural or paranormal?
I've had many encounters with what I think is the other side. I love to read, watch, and hear things about ghosts. I like to hear about the violent phantoms and poltergeists ... I think it's more interesting when it's freakier. When a spirit is angry ... I think it makes it more intriguing.
Some brief "happenings" that have happened to me:
-I was about 12 or so and I was home alone. I went downstairs to refill my drink and put my glass on the counter behind me (it was one of those islands in the middle of a kitchen). I turned to open the fridge to grab the juice. When I turned back around my glass was missing, I went "wtf?" naturally then I looked near the sink and there it was ...
-I went to West Virginia in 2002 to Busch Gardens. We stayed a camp ground near the park but pretty secluded. Our tent was right near train tracks - a lively one too. One night I woke up hearing a man whistling and two kids playing. Quiet hours started at 11PM and it was around 1. I woke my sister up and asked her if she heard it because the whistling sounded close. She said 'no' and I asked 'you can't hear that?' astonished because it seemed so loud. 'No' she responded. I decided to go to sleep but I kept hearing it so I put my headphones on. I could hear it through the music. After two full spins of the same CD I took them off and the noise was gone. I fell back asleep.
My sister told me to wake her up the next night if I heard it again.
The next night the same thing happened, I awoke and heard the whistling and the kids. I woke Sarah (my sister) up and again she heard nothing. This time the whistling sounded like it was right near our tent ... my sister fell back asleep. I asked my brother and my dad if they heard it the next day but they didn't.
My sister and I came to the conclusion that maybe people died on the train tracks behind the camp site and their spirit lives on. Weird thing happened that day as well, we went shopping and went into a little shop ... what did we see when we walked in? A book called "the Ghosts of West Virginia" . . .
if you're interested in more of my stories, I'll post some more.
