Care to share where your inspirations for writing comes from? Inspirations can come from basically anywhere - a song, a movie, an event, etc... It'd be interesting to see where others find their inspirations.

Music - often ambiguous songs. "Atlantic" by Thrice inspired my story in the notebook section and "Let Go" by Frou Frou inspired my last blog entry.
Photos and paintings - "The Letter" was inspired by the Norman Rockwell picture attached to it.

im inspired by almost anything, but it is usually something like a friends poem, or my life, most of the time it is a combination of the two.

To be honest, where I get inspiration depends highly on my mood. If I'm in certain moods, only certain things penetrate to make me feel something. And that's where the inspiration is. If something makes me feel, or think or even wonder about anything, I may write about it. THough, lately, I haven't been much inspired by anything.

i kno how you feel, ive been forcing out poems for school because nothing has inspired me lately, and ive being doing some research on pirates, so recently i have wrote a lot of pirate poems :\
