What inspires your writings? Is it something that you see in nature? Maybe something thats on your mind at the time? Well, now is your chance to tell us.

Usually personal experiences or feelings ... most of my writing this year has been drawn from something personal. Most of my writing has been sad lately ... so I guess that sucks eh?

yea, that sounds about right... i tend to get my inspirations from infatuations i have... demons, fire, and heartbreaks are common topics in my writings... some of them are just common things twisted in darkness to make them different... you can see this in poems about myself, or even in my poem Demons Within, i spin fire and inner feelings with darkness to help describe the hate and rage lurking within everyone.

I find alot of the time...my inspiration to write is the the 'want' to write.
Especially coming out of writer's block...it's ALWAYS painful to write those first few pieces but I know once I get a flow going, then I am able absorb everything around me and incorporate them into my writing. ...I've got a ways to go though - I'm not at that point yet.

Sometimes my writing comes from personal experience, or a singular event. That happened alot this summer when I was moving. I didnt really want to leave, but had to anyway. Other times my inspiration comes from a set of words. A pretty phrase or some image will spark a poem and I build on it. Sometimes I quite literally pull a poem out of thin air.

It's been a while since I've written anything, will have to find something to inspire me. I think sometimes we get lost because we start thinking about "What do people want to read" as opposed to saying "What do I want to say".

Inspiration for me can come from pretty much anything. It just depends on whether or not I'm open to it in that moment. It might be a particular song, a moment, a memory, maybe even just the smell of food cooking or a squished worm on the sidewalk. It all depends on my headspace and what kind of thinking I'm doing. I find that stress inspires me. Confusion inspires me. I write when I need to write because I don't know how else to get it all out.
