inspired by www.oneword.com
Direct my soul onto the road where the least opposition stands, for it is tired and weary as a traveler may be after a long, hard journey. It has traveled the depths of my heart, nearing it's own demise, only to break free at the last moment and live again. So please, direct my soul towards the light...

No responses since freaking July!! Alright so I liked this. I seem to like your poetry inspired by oneword more so than others. You may have that gift. By that I mean, you can take a word, a phrase, or an ojbect and make art out of it and sound like you were truly inspired ... like something took your breath away. I can barely do that. I usually think of a good line and can never make a poem out of it. That's why I've got like 200 pages of one liners lying around my room.
I ramble, if you haven't noticed.
"for it is tired and weary as a traveler may be after a long, hard journey"
--spiritual almost. Adoring.

[glow=purple,2,300]heh, maybe you really do work a lot better under pressure. perhaps that time limit that you're given sort of gets your wheels turning and that's why you write so WELL in these oneword-inspired poetry [/glow]

I agree, time limits seem to be the best for you. maybe next time you are suffering from writes block you should give yourself a time limit. and reward yourself if you do it in the time alotted.. you know what I mean? I know its difficult when you are writing spur of the moment poetry, but maybe like while you are in class and you feel like writing, say that you have until the end of the class period to finish whatever you are writing. lol. yea. I'm just bored and exploring a new personality.

This kinda reminds me of that song Bilbo sang in the Lord of the Rings. "The road goes ever on an on..."
I like this.
