This can sound pathetic.
This can sound absurd.
But there is something missing from inside of me.
Did she never see the way I really am?
This isn't about her anymore.
It's not about Bridgett anymore.
I want to make a cd to tell her everything but it doesn't matter anymore because she can never love me the way I loved her.
Right now this is about him, yes its a man
A man who I gave a part of me to
A man I love more than anything anymore,
Who I may never see again
The one who just happens to be the one I'd give my all for.
But I don't know why I keep hurting everyone who love me
Who are always around me
Taylor I'm talking about you
I can't stand doing this to anyone anymore....
I'm done
With hurting you
and I love you
I always will
Mike, you too but you're both so far away and it tears me apart inside
but I'm a big girl who wants to cry but can't
I just want to rid all of this emptyness I feel
All this coldness and numbness.
Why am I so numb?

Note: Sorry I forgot to edit my post but i didn't want it to look so confusing because my situation is confusing. I just made this poem up. Everything poured out I wish it would all the time. Anyway for further notice thanks for any feedback you or others leave behind.

Clearly you've written this for yourself, and to express how you're feeling and not so much for the entertainment of others. Which is fine. I hope everything turns out well for you.

Not a bad thing - I encourage expressing yourself.

It's not selfish to write for yourself - you should write for yourself. That's what poetry is, isn't it? An expression of the self. Sometimes we share it, but we don't have to, because we shouldn't be writing it for others. That's when it loses its magic, its purity, its utter essence of being poetic and emotional.
Go ahead. Write for you and nobody else. I wouldn't expect anything less.

Agreed. If you're writing for other people, well, that's fine, but personally I only write for myself. It helps me sort things out - so keep it up sans guilt.
