[glow=black,2,300] Yeah, my entire "prom package" ended up being about 100 bucks, cuz the ticket was 50 and then the limo was 40 and I payed my 10 bucks toward the restaurant after prom party. I ended up spending only about 20 bucks on my outfit, cuz the dress was my sister's and my shoes were 15 and then I payed 5 bucks for jewelry at a second hand place[/glow]

I heard some acquaintances talking about how much they spent. Some people spend like $700 on a dress for one night! Psst! You guys must have really wanted to go to spend all that money.

I think my dress cost $150 something. Never would I pay $700 for a dress. I really did want to go. Mainly because I had nothing better to do than to spend a night with some people that I'll never see again after a few months.

my dress junior year was like 50 and my senior year like 90 ? I think? I spent 40 bucks each year to get my nails done twice with airbrish and sutff... and I think 50 bucks for tickets junior year and I paid for my dates ticket senior year so i think it was 75 for a couple... I was a cheerleader so I was "expected" to go... I had fun my senior year but my junior year I regret even going... I hated pretty much all the people in my school excluding my two closest friends... so we went together junior year and senior year we all three had dates...

I didn't go junior year, cuz I didn't want to. Everyone else basically did. I don't regret not going. I knew I would be going senior year so, I didn't think I'd be sad if I missed that one.

yea... I didn't really want to go... but it was expected of me... so i did... its not really that I regret going... I just didn't have a very good experience that year... the pic of me on here... in the pink dress... thats me junior year... my nickname that year was "Marilyn" you can only guess why... this pic doesn't portray it as well as some others do though

Yes. I had fun. But that was the down fall of it all.
Heh. Prom.
A lot of my friends didn't go, but I think it's a mandatory thing for High School. EVERYONE MUST GO!

Not if you hate everyone. I just ignored all the people I hated. I wanted to have a good time and I did. I wasn't about to let "them" ruin it for me. Then again, most of the people who gave me trouble didn't even go! Sharon, your dress was very gorgeous!

I also hate dancing and they always seem to play crappy music at dances. Hmm...

Yeah, dances tend to have bad music (as do bars), but I love dancing, it's so fun. Mainly when my friend's band The Fo!ps is playing, or when I go to ska shows and skank. So basically, just doing whatever. A ridiculously fun time.

There has got to be a place that plays Stone Temple Pilots or something ... for an almost rail thin struggling drug addict ... that guy can move
