I decided to take the day off today. I spent a little bit of it cleaning but for the most part just relaxed. What does relaxing look like for you nowadays? Lounging on the couch and drinking some type of warm beverages (usually coffee), while watching a movie or tv show I've seen before. Yesterday in particular, I washed dishes, swept, and mopped while I blasted music. Which... sounds like work, but I always feel better when I can clean uninterrupted with my jams blaring.

Sounds like a perfect afternoon/night to me.

Yeah, not a good result again. We always seem to struggle in December which is not good at all. Hopefully we can turn it around and keep up with the top two.

About a month ago I decided to park my Hummer. It had been costing me too much in repairs, and the final straw came when the computer died on it. So I went and bought a Honda Civic. Trouble is that it is a standard and I haven't driven one of those in many years. My head was jerking around because of not popping the clutch properly, and I was stalling. Now I have gotten used to it and am driving around like a race car driver.
This thing is amazing on gas. I have only used one third of a tank in over a month!

I could probably drive a stick shift if I had to but I like not having to really think about the gears when driving an automatic. You know what vehicle has caught my eye lately... the Ford Maverick!

Passed my test in a manual but went for an automatic straight away. Like you, I can't be bothered to worry about the gears whilst I'm driving. It's just so much easier to drive an automatic because you can enjoy the drive and your music without being stressed (especially as a new driver).

I've considered driving a stick, I have this fear of my car getting stolen and feel its less likely if I got a stick since lots of people cant seem to drive it. But I also think I don't want to be bothered while driving to worry about shifting and such.

It's funny because over the gear type wouldn't matter much over here for a robber. Most people learn in a manual so they get a license allowing them to drive both types. If you learn in an automatic, you can't drive a manual car which is a bit useless.

The one benefit of having a black box as part of my car insurance I guess, the car can easily be tracked down if it ever does get stolen. Although there is a small window for them to get away with it now since I'm waiting for a new one lol

It's at my house. Hopefully that is enough information for you demonskeith, a black box tracks how I drive which pushes the insurance price down. Since it tracks where you drive to, you can use it to find out where it is.

I don't know about you guys but it's feeling very hectic this season. As the year wraps up... there's an unintended pressure to perform at work all the while visiting with family and friends. It's hard to remember sometimes that this is the part of the year that we should take the opportunity to enjoy others company - writing this out to really just remind myself to appreciate the moment because this is all temporary all of it the good and bad so we have to make the most of every moment.

Just popping in to say hey. Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA. These couple weeks are my busiest of the year. Now it’s time to grab a couple hours sleep before a very long day tomorrow.
