i see, it's cool that we all have I.E. when i was using the library's computers, they had this browser called "Foxfire" or "Firefox" I don't know something like that, and it made Serene Distraction look really bad. I haven't seen it under the netscape yet. i would download it but right now i am terrified of downloading anything on this computer. wouldn't want to give it ANY reason to go berserk on me again.

yeah? What kind of computer do you have?
Mine is one that my dad built out of some spare parts from other computers he was repairing at the time. It has a pentium 4, but it likes to freeze and crash a lot. It especially likes to crash when I am in the middle of writing a 10 page term paper *still haven't forgiven it for that*.
So, what kind of computer do you have?

When I first started this thread I was a frequent user of Internet Explorer - now I use Firefox. What do you all use nowadays?

If I'm on my hp laptop its the current version of Internet Explorer. If I'm on my mac, its Firefox, or if I get desperate Safari, although I really hate to use it because its soooooo slow.

I use Chrome. I used to use FireFox. Internet Explorer is an absolute pain for web developers and some don't even bother making their sites work with it.

I still use Explorer for most, but I use Chrome for Netflix since I've got the app that allows me to access the UK version for the extra shows/movies and such.

I've got the app that allows me to access the UK version for the extra shows/movies and such. Please elaborate on this, as I am curious What app? does it cost anymore? How does it work?

It's the Hola App . Doesn't cost anything. It unblocks restricted sites by allowing you to access them via different region/country proxy servers. It creates an icon next to your address bar in Chrome and then you would go to the specific site, ie Netflix, and then choose which country you would like to access from. I use it all the time for the UK Netflix.

I use Mozilla Firefox. But due to the nature of my job, I also have to use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera.

My favorite is Chrome by far! One of the fastest ones, and it very rarely crashes!
