While we're on the subject of scary movies ... what about disappointing "scary" movies? White Noise was not a bad movie but the ending was ruined. In my opinion, the Grudge was just plain horrible.
Kill by Inches is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The People Under the Stairs (you could see the guy was wearing a mask and he wasn't disfigured ... sad day for you Craven).
Oh yes and what do you consider classic horror movies? I'm not going too far back because I find the older movies (60s and prior) not scary at all. I start my "classics" at Halloween and around there.

I like Poltergeist.
Did anyone else think the guy from Saw started looking like he was 70 near the end? He started sounding like it too ... I mean, I'm sure he would look crazed but why does he sound and look so damn old? I liked that freaky clown-y thing in that movie though, although if someone put that on a chair in front of my bed while I was sleeping, I would have to murder them.

I don't think it's the best movie but I didn't think it was bad. I want to see Saw II.
In other news, I'm going to the movies on Friday. Wow.

a movie that made me jump was Paranormal activity. That's really lame, right? It's not even a scary movie! xD
